I liked the hotel, it's delightful and stunningly beautiful and the location is awesome to Kruger national park. The room was extremely spacious and luxurious and had private bathroom plus a microwave, tea and coffee making equipment, and a fridge. The bed was comfortable with hypoallergenic pillows. Location: the property was short walk to the river and all the animals, the beautiful garden and the river bank👍

The room at Hennie's Rest was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable double bed and an extra single bed in the living area. The bathroom with a shower was clean and convenient. I loved having my own kitchen and living area, which made me feel right at home. The free WIFI and full DSTV were great for entertainment purposes. as a budget traveler, I found this room to be perfect for my needs.
This is just my personal preference, and others may still enjoy the two bathrooms available.

The decoration at Hennie's Rest was simply delightful, offering a warm and cozy atmosphere perfect for seniors. The elegant furniture and soft color palettes created a soothing ambiance throughout the hotel. , the general areas were well-maintained, providing comfortable seating and easy accessibility for seniors to relax and socialize. As a senior woman, I especially appreciated the thoughtful details that made the hotel safe and convenient for older guests.
I would have loved to see more organized activities catered specifically to seniors during my stay. While the staff, or as I fondly refer to them, the children working there, were friendly and helpful, they could have offered more options for entertainment or outings suitable for senior guests.

I had the most amazing stay at a hidden gem in Malalane. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Crocodile River and the Kruger park. The luxury of the unit exceeded my expectations, with a beautifully decorated interior and all the amenities I could ask for. The outdoor decks and pool right on the river bank were idyllic, making it hard to want to be indoors. But what truly made my stay special was the warm and welcoming treatment I received from the owners. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like family. I cannot recommend this place enough. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

We had the most incredible time at Hennie's Rest. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning property. the owner, Cornelia, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. the accommodation was perfect - clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. the highlight for us was sitting in the gorgeous garden and watching the wild animals visit Crocodile river. We saw elephants, antelope, giraffes, and even had a close encounter with a bull elephant right outside the outdoor area. It was truly a magical experience and by far the best place we have ever stayed. Thank you, Cornelia, for your wonderful hospitality!
Not one thing 🙌.
